In the era of globlisation integrity of ethics is necessary – Prof. L.S. Rathore
“All great men that you see had standard learning with ABC” with this quote, Former Vice Chancellor of JNVU Prof. L.S. Rathore focused that all great men have achieved ladder of success, beginning with its very first step. He was expressing his views as chief orator of orientation program organized for students of PG Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management at Indraprastha College of Management & Technology, Jodhpur.
He expressed his views on management & entrepreneurship as a philosopher. He said that cuckoo lays eggs in the nest of crow that brought up cuckoo’s child. In this way cuckoo shows risk taking ability and plays the role of an entrepreneur whereas crow plays the role of a manager.
He said globalization has five aspects explosion of communication at IT, revolution in market economy, mighty democratic change, relentless urbanization, trend towards open society. In spite of these, presence of Peace, Justice, Truth & Partnership should be there for entrepreneurship. He also said that good health is also necessary for a successful career. He quoted Vivekanand that way to heaven is not only from Geeta but first from football.
Special speaker Sh. S.K. Sharma (President, Marudhara Industries Association, Jodhpur) emphasized on importance of culture & values in this modern business world. He said that long term profit oriented businessman is one who is loyal towards customers. Youths, who are the synergistic sector, should be determined to achieve their aims. In the same context, he explained it by example of Eklavya, whose aim was to learn from Dronacharya. Even after being refused by Dronacharya, his determination helped him to achieve his aim.
Programme was started with introduction of guests by Dr. Bharti sharma, faculty member of ICMT. Ashu Vyas presented welcome speech for guests. Director of ICMT, Prof. Sushil Choudhary presented mementos to guests. Student Adisha gave vote of thanks. |
