This was the learning that Management Students at Indraprastha College of Management & Technology (ICMT), Jodhpur comprehended during their visit at the India's Largest Company in cycle manufacturing Hero Cycles located at Ludhiana. Where the GM Personnel of the company, Mr. M.K. Sharma expressed above views.
A group of 44 led by the Director of ICMT Mr. Sushil Choudhary arrived back at Jodhpur after a five days visit to various cities of Punjab especially Ludhiana which is known as one of the Industrial Cities of India.
Mr. Bhupesh Advani (Manager P.R.), Faculty members Ranesh Mathur & Rishi Nepaliya and Mrs. Inder Kaur (Co-ordinaor) also accompanied the group for guiding students during the visit.
The group of MBA students learned management concepts by visualizing them in practical process on their educational tour to a leading textile company of India Aarti International, One of the largest paper mills in North India Shreyans Paper Mills and the India's largest manufacturer of cycle tyre tubes Ralson India Ltd. Senior officers of all the organisations had a detailed discussion regarding the working process in different departments like quality control, finance, marketing, human resource with other concerned dept. and solved queries of students regarding these departments in interactive sessions organised at all industries.
After this student also visited the Largest Rail Coach Factory of Indian Railways situated at Kapurthala.
During this visit students of ICMT also visited Wagha Border at Amritsar where in evening retreat function students motivated Indian soldiers by presenting a dance performance on patriotic songs. Students also met the in-charge of BSF at Vagha Border Mr. R.P. Singh and presented him a prospectus of institute. Students also visited Golden Temple and Jaliyan Wala Bagh at Amritsar.
The objective of the Industrial Visit was to make students aware of the Management operations at large scale. |
