The institute started its activities under the aegis of Indraprastha Shikshan & Vikas Sansthan, a non profit making educational society which is registered with Govt. of Rajasthan, at Jodhpur. After that a highly successful venture has been launched in Kota with the collaboration with Pushpa Vidya Niketan Samiti.

The institute is a nodal centre of All India Management Association (AIMA, New Delhi) and affiliated to AIMA-Centre for Management Education. The institute is also an institutional member of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
